 
                Insomniac has confirmed that the Resistance series is over (for them). The FPS which is exclusive to Playstation has met its end. Insomniac Games CEO Ted Price confirmed that the company will no longer work on the series.
The Resistance series is not necessarily over though. Sony own the rights to the franchise and now can use it as they see fit. So it is quite likely we’ll see more Resistance games made, just under a new developer.
This does not come as a surprise, Insomniac have been working on their own multi-format titles since finishing the Resistance trilogy.
