Okami Remastered in the works?

According to reports from Game Jouhou, a new remastered version of the critically acclaimed Okami may be in the works. The game would be released onto the PS3 and currently has the name Okami Zekkie-ban linked to it.

Okami was developed by Clover Studios and was universally praised for its unique art style and gameplay. The game has been released onto the PS2 (2006) and Wii (2010). There was even a DS spin-off, Okamiden (2010). Okami’s lead character Amaterasu was also a playable character in the two different versions of Marvel vs Capcom (2011).

Capcom, who published Okami, have a long history of re-releasing titles so we would not be surprised to see Amaterasu’s fighting evil on another console.

One Response to “Okami Remastered in the works?”

  1. Nahhhh says:

It should be release on the Vita not PS3. It’s pretty pointless for the PS3 since it will just be a HD graphics change that the Dolphin already does very well.

The controls will work perfectly for the Vita since you draw a lot for your skills.
