Rumours have been spreading for quite some time that The Last Guardian has been secretly cancelled, though it appears as if these speculations are wrong.

With staff members leaving Sony and, more importantly, the trademark being abandoned the internet was left to believe that it had seen the last of the series created by Team Ico. Although industry professionals repeatedly came forth to calm the masses, there had been no sustainable proof to show them otherwise, until now.

The trademark shows nothing out of the ordinary, however, fans can now be rest assured that The Last Guardian is in fact still on the way, if official announcements were not enough.
