Yesterday Suda 51 announced the latest game in the Grasshopper Manufacture and Kadokawa Games partnership – Killer is Dead. The game was described by the twisted genius as “a sort of “Dark Side 007″ in that it will feature a number of beautiful Bond Girl-like ladies.”

The game will see you playing as “the executioner”, an assassin that takes down S level criminals. While details on the story are vague, Suda 51 has said the game’s central theme will revolve around the idea of “How far can you protect someone”.

Suda  51 has thrown up the vague keywords “Love”, “Brilliant game” and “Moon and Earth” as being key to Killer is Dead.

The first set of concept art related to the game has been released. The images do not tell us that much, but we now suspect the game to be set in the future. Other than that we would just be guessing. Of course we could be completely wrong, this is a game from Suda 51 of course.
