PS Vita priced:

The PS Vita has had its price officially announced at £229 (3G model). This prices the handheld above the Playstation 3 which currently retails for £199.

The PS Vita will have touchscreen, 3G, digital and hardcopy distribution, dual thumbsticks and over one hundred titles on the day of release according to Sony.  The handheld also has graphics that are almost on par with the PS3! (See trailer below).

FIFA 12 destroys Pro Evolution Soccer:

FIFA has always had a lead on Pro Evolution Soccer. The two series have battled for years over bragging rights as to which game has the best sales records.

This year FIFA triumphed beating Konami’s football game 25:1 according to EA’s North European boss Keith Ramsdale who said to Gamerzines:

“When you look at Pro Evolution Soccer versus FIFA, only five years ago in the UK PES was outselling FIFA. On its first weekend like-for-like we’ve just outsold PES by 25 times.

“That’s a sign of the momentum and the fan base and community behind FIFA, and let’s be clear, an absolutely kick-arse game. It’s unbelievable.”

Modern Warfare 3 blows up Paris:

Seeing as the current political climate is sensitive to the ideas of terrorism, I always found the plotlines from Modern Warfare surprising. with terrorism, nuclear bombs and airport massacres. Sure the whole thing feels like a movie, with a caricature cast of baddies, but you don’t even see films like this at the moment, even Michael Bay had to start making films about Transformers to avoid any trouble!

That said Modern Warfare 3 seems to still be getting away with it as they have released a set of screenshots that show an attack on the Eiffel Tower. Set midway through the game, the mission named Iron Lady has a terrorist controlled AC130 attacking Paris.

Uncharted 3 review scores creep out:

Uncharted 3 is set to blow you away this November. The cinematic, 3rd personal, action-adventure game has looked absolutely amazing in previews. So far magazines have had nothing other than praise for the game, with the first review from Playmania awarding it 9.9/10. Power Unlimited gave the modern game a slightly lower score at 94% saying,

“It is jaw-dropping,” it adds. “The whole game is full of highlights. One of the best games ever for the PlayStation 3 to date.”

Not only that, but Harrison Ford has been praising Uncharted 3, don’t believe us? Check out the video below.

Pokemon Gray domain registered:

Pokemon seem to be running out of colours as this week as the domain name www.pokemongray.com was registered by Melbourne IT Digital Brand Services.

This may not seem suspicious but this is the same company that registered the websites for the North American communities for the last major Pokemon release.

Pokemon Gray seems to run along a logical format for the series. Usually a single game follows the release of two bigger games (e..g Pokemon Yellow after Red and Blue).

Nintendo and Pokemon Company are yet to comment on the situation.
