Inspired by Double Fine’s success on Kickstarter, Brian Fargo the CEO of inExile Entertainment has confirmed that the old school post apocalyptic RPG Wasteland will be getting a sequel.
In a Tweet from yesterday, Fargo wrote, “I have most the major websites ready to announce when we launch. But certainly feel free to spread the word! Wasteland 2 is coming!”
The video for the game’s Kickstarter page is supposedly already completed and we can expect to see the whole thing live by early next week. If development is planning to go back to the classic RPG roots with this one, I can see this project getting enough money together, through public funding.
