Video Game Producer Yoshinori Ono, known for his work on Street Fighter and Street Fighter X Tekken, is taking time off from his work at Capcom due to health issues.
Earlier today he announced via Twitter in multiple tweets, “I caused u so much worry for a while. I went back to work. SFteam’re working wholeheartedly on patches forSFxTK,plz wait just a little longer. I apologize for that. And Thanks for a lot of get-well message! I’ll refrain from work for current job for a while.”
“Another person in charge of SF series for a while. Of course I’ll constant support to it. I’ll be out of the limelight as fighting game series for a while. I’ll think about the new future of fighting game after this,” he went on to write. “I dont know that how long time continued for a long time this job. But I’ll try my best to be back here again. I can’t speak with astonishment about I got airline ticket from my boss. Whats up! I really worry about what things will be like in future. Physical health is of paramount importance. Let’s try to improve healthcare.”
In recent years Ono has successfully managed to create various Street Fighter games and even support Namco Bandai with their work on Tekken. Our wishes go out to him so that he may make a quick recovery.
