According to MCV, GAME has come into some financial trouble and it is starting to affect the way the business is being run.
An unnamed publishing executive told MCV: “No credit from the agencies means no stock for the stores. It’s going to get worse before it gets better. You won’t find a new release this Friday.”
We wouldn’t worry too much. We nipped to our local GAME store and everything seems in check with Final Fantasy XIII-2, Soul Calibur and Metal Gear Solid Collection all said to be ready for tomorrow’s release.
Last weekend there were several issues on GAME’s website where prominent games were out of stock. GAME claims that this is due to “website errors”.
