Every now and then something comes along that reminds us of fictional work and we realise the world of technology is a scary one. I mean this week we already had a  on stage, now we have found new footage of a robot that looks creepily like Metal Gear Solid 4′s Gekkos.

The robot which is designed by DARPA is ridiculously well designed and can walk and run without assistance. It can even travel up stairs as shown in the video below.

The design on the robot named FastRunner even has the same black legs and odd, curved feet.

Whether or not the FastRunner will make cow noises or not is yet to be confirmed.
